We’re excited to welcome Dr. Aaron Smith to the team at Westlake Dental Care. A proud graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Dr. Smith earned his degree alongside Dr. Willis in 2009 and brings with him over a decade of experience in comprehensive general dentistry. Dr. Smith is known for building long-lasting relationships with his patients and takes great pride in providing thoughtful, personalized care. He has a wide range of clinical expertise—from preventive and restorative treatment to managing dental emergencies—and is committed to helping each patient achieve optimal oral health with compassion and clarity. His approachable style and clear communication have made him a favorite among patients of all ages. Outside the office, Dr. Smith enjoys perfecting his golf game, cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers, and discovering new local restaurants with family and friends. We’re thrilled to have Dr. Smith as part of the Westlake Dental Care family and look forward to the exceptional care he’ll bring to the Smith Mountain Lake community.

Dr. Willis's dedication to dentistry is driven by a simple philosophy: to help his patients maintain their natural teeth for life while enhancing the health and beauty of their smiles. Known for his ability to connect deeply with his patients and his team, Dr. Willis has built a pioneering group of leaders at every level within his practice. Under his leadership, Willis & Associates Family Dentistry has earned numerous accolades, including recognition as the first platinum providers for Invisalign as a GP in the Charlottesville/Augusta region, eight consecutive Charlottesville Family Favorite awards, Top Dentist honors in Virginia Living Magazine, and Best Chairside Manner awards from OurHealth. Dr. Willis earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the West Virginia School of Dentistry in Morgantown. He is actively involved in the dental community and is a member of several esteemed organizations, including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners (where he served on the Executive Committee), Virginia Dental Association, Shenandoah Valley Dental Association, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. A firm believer in giving back, Dr. Willis attributes much of his success to the support of his community. He is dedicated to showing his appreciation through charitable contributions and community involvement. Over the years, Dr. Willis has supported organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Young Life Christian Organization. He has also invested in local education, donating to schools like Brownsville Elementary, reflecting his commitment to fostering a strong, healthy, and educated community.
